About

Working Strategies Inc. grew out of a desire to impact individuals and organizations that were going through important transitions.  Originally formed in 1998 , the company emphasizes project management and organizational development.   We spend a lot of time helping other organizations build the very best human and project systems possible for meeting new challenges.  When we partner with others, we don’t simply look to fill a role.  We also seek opportunities that stretch us and challenge us to be better at what we do.

Wil McClennen, PMP CMC

With nearly 20 years of experience in project-oriented businesses, Wil is fortunate to have worked in all capacities on countless projects from the $20K improvement initiative to the $40M enterprise-wide colossus.  He has had the chance to be involved with technology, product development, organizational change, process re-design, and service delivery projects in industries as diverse as automotive, entertainment, pharmaceutical, insurance, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, and technology.

Through this experience, Wil commits to learn something from every single project he joins … and it’s been quite an education. Wil is a certified professional, but managing projects is experiential work more than anything.  His constant, direct exposure to project dynamics has helped him develop a pretty good ear for what’s working and what’s broken in projects.  Being able to uncover root causes of project outcomes is how Wil helps you to influence your projects in just the right way to ensure success.
